Free Lives (Pty) Ltd is a South African video game developer based in Tamarin, Mauritius. The company was founded in Cape Town, South Africa in April 2012 by creative director Evan Greenwood. They are best known for developing Broforce, which entered Steam Early Access on 7 April 2014, and was released on 15 October 2015. On 1 September 2016, the offices were temporarily moved their headquarters to Tamarin, Mauritius, to develop game jam games as part of their episodic documentary, Game Jam Island.[1]
