G. V. Kumar is a Tamil film Story Writer, Actor, and Director based in Kollywood.

Kumar started his career as an Assistant Director and Screenwriter. He wrote screenplay for Narasimha (2001 film),[1] starring Vijayakanth. He directed his debut film Puli Varudhu,[2][3] a Comedy thriller genre only averaged at the box office. He has many feature film stories with screenplay in possession some of them are copyrighted for his next on going projects. He also participates in film discussions, actively works as assistant and co-director in many Tamil films. He also appears on-screen in multiple Tamil films, one of them notably is right hand of villain Ashutosh Rana in movie Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva.[4]
