Gage Golightly (born September 5, 1993), is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Hayley Steele in the Nickelodeon series The Troop (2009–11) and for her role as Erica Reyes on the MTV series Teen Wolf.

Career

Golightly co-starred in the sci-fi miniseries 5ive Days to Midnight and the TNT series Heartland. She has also appeared in Speakeasy, Sudbury, A Carol Christmas, The Long Shot, and the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Vanessa. She portrayed Hayley in the Nickelodeon series The Troop, a series about a group of teenagers who fight monsters.

In 2012, Golightly had a recurring role on the MTV series Teen Wolf during the show's second season as Erica Reyes, in which she played the show's first living female werewolf. Golightly was set to reprise her role of Erica Reyes during the show's third season which began filming in late 2013, but the actress instead exited the show during early stages of filming as she had been cast as the female lead in a pilot for The CW titled, "Company Town." In May 2013, it was announced that the pilot had not been green lighted. It was later confirmed that Golightly would not be rejoining the cast for the third season of Teen Wolf.[1]

Throughout 2011–12 Golightly worked on a Marcus Nispel horror film titled Backmask, which was later retitled to Exeter. Golightly also worked on a project titled Vanished, which was later re-titled to Gone Missing. for the Lifetime network, playing the role of Matty. In June 2014, Golightly was cast as a series regular in an Amazon Studios comedy pilot Red Oaks, in which she played the role of Karen, the pilot was picked up to series on October 3, 2014. The series began filming their first season in late May 2015.

In late 2014, Golightly was cast as "Karen" in the remake of Eli Roth's 2002 horror flick, "Cabin Fever." The film was released on February 12, 2016 by IFC Midnight.

In late May 2016, Broad Green Pictures announced that Golightly was cast as Libby in their upcoming dance-comedy film "Step Sisters," (Previously known as Ain't No Half Steppin').

Personal life

Golightly is the youngest of four children (1 sister and 2 brothers).[2] She has studied at Laurel Hall Middle School and Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.[3]

Golightly was born with apraxia, a disorder that made speech difficult for her as a toddler. The young actress overcame the disorder and became a successful TV and movie actress.
