The Rana Marsupial (Gastrotheca monticola) is a species of amphibian in the Hemiphractidae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
