General Logistics Systems B.V. (GLS) is a Dutch British owned logistics company based in Amsterdam. It was founded in 1999[2] and is a subsidiary of Royal Mail,[3] a postal service operator based in the United Kingdom.

In the 2010/11 financial year, GLS shipped 363,000,000 parcels for 220,000 customers, generating revenues of €1.75 billion. GLS has 17,100 vehicles servicing 38 hubs spanning 42 European countries.[5]
