General der Fallschirmtruppe (Literally: General of the Paratroopers) was a General’s rank of the German Luftwaffe.

The rank was equivalent to the long established General der Kavallerie, General der Artillerie and General der Infanterie. The Wehrmacht also introduced General der Flieger (aviators), General der Pioniere (engineers), General der Gebirgstruppen (mountain troops), General der Nachrichtentruppen (communication troops) and General der Panzertruppen (armored troops).
