George Cheung
George Kee Cheung (born 8 February 1949) is a Chinese actor, stunt man, and singer with an extensive career in American television and film dating back to the mid-1970s, often playing Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Mongolian parts. His career has focused primarily on television work.
Cheung was born in Hong Kong and earned his degree in biology at the University of San Francisco.[1]
Some of the more recent notable television programs he has guest starred on include MacGyver, "Magnum, P.I.", The A-Team, Knight Rider, How I Met Your Mother, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, ER, The West Wing, Seibu Keisatsu, and Lost. His film appearances include Under Siege, Rambo: First Blood Part II, RoboCop 2, Lethal Weapon 4, Rush Hour, Starsky & Hutch and Mongolian Death Worm.
He played the role of sadistic interrogator who tortures captured American commando (played by bodybuilder Vitaly Rudakovskiy) in war drama-action film The Interrogation of Muscular P.O.W. (2014).
In May 2008, Cheung was presented by California's Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus with the Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Award for Excellence in Arts and Entertainment.[2]
