Gerard Donakowski - Wikipedia

Gerard Donakowski (born February 20, 1960) is a retired distance runner.

College career

At the University of Michigan as a cross country runner he was an All-American in 1983.^[1] He was also an All-American in both indoor and outdoor track and field along with being a 3-time Big Ten Conference champion.^[2]

International career

Donakowski won silver at the 1986 Goodwill Games.^[3]

In 1987 Donakowski won the USA Track & Field 10,000 meters championship.^[4] This entitled him to compete in the 1987 World Championships in Athletics in the 10,000 meters. He was listed as competing, but did not start.^[5]

At the 1988 Olympic Trials Donakowski finished 8th.^[6]
