Ghatophryne rubigina is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. Its common names are Kerala stream toad, Silent Valley torrent toad, and red torrent toad. It is endemic to Silent Valley and Wynaad, in Kerala, the southern Western Ghats, India.[2] Its natural habitats are tropical evergreen forest. It is associated with torrential streams and the forest floor.[1]
