Gila Katsav

Gila Katsav was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1948. In 1969 she married Moshe Katsav, the former President of the State of Israel. The couple has five children, four sons and a daughter, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Katsav is involved in personal volunteer activity in homes for children who come from disadvantaged families as part of the efforts of “The Council for the Sheltered Child” and is a committed volunteer in the Rehabilitation Department of “Yad Sarah,” a voluntary organization that specializes in providing home care and lending medical equipment without charge.
