Gilles Verdez (born 8 August 1964 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye) is a French journalist, television and radio columnist. He is co-author of numerous books on football in France.

Biography

He graduated from the training center for journalists in Paris and then became a journalist in Paris. He was on one of the crumbling stands and was wounded at the 5 May 1992 Armand Cesari Stadium disaster.[1] In September 2009, then editor of the Parisien, he was dismissed by the Director General Jean Hornain with the Director of writing Dominique de Montvalon and the other editor Phulippe Duley, due to lower sales of 4%.[2] In November 2009 he became deputy director of the broadcasting of France-Soir and director of the sports department from August 2011 to January 2012. Chronicler of the show, we remade the game, on RTL, to I-TV and RFI, and author of five books on football, he was reporter for L'Équipe. He joined the show Touche pas à mon poste! As a columnist for the 2013-2014 seasons, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016,[3] and the team of Cyril Hanouna in broadcasting Feet in the flat on the radio Europe 1. He appears regularly on I-Tele.
