Godless Bitches is an American freethought podcast[1] discussing feminism, religion and reproductive freedom since 2011. Beth Presswood, credited as the creator,[2] is called a "nationally known atheist activist and public speaker".[3] The show is listed as a "flagship activity" of the Atheist Community of Austin (alongside The Atheist Experience television show), who describe it as an "explor[ation] of feminism, religion, and reproduction from a secular perspective."[4]

The podcast team were invited speakers at the 2013 American Atheists convention in Austin, Texas.[5]

Podcast regulars Beth Presswood, Tracie Harris and Jen Peeples are also featured on The Atheist Experience.[6]

Awards

The cast were nominated for Jen McCreight's BlagHag "Most influential female atheist of 2011" award.[7] The podcast was awarded Austin Chronicle's "Best local podcast" award in 2013.[8]
