Goldface, the Fantastic Superman (Template:Lang-it, Template:Lang-es, also known as Cara de oro and El fantástico superman) is an Italian-Spanish co-production superhero-adventure film directed by Bitto Albertini.[1][2]

Plot

During businessman Matthews's party his industrial property was attacked and destroyed by terrorists of megalomaniac The Cobra. Meantime, there was a wrestling match in which participated and won famous wrestler Goldface. German reporter was trying to get an interview with him, but has only find out that nobody knows the man under the mask. In reality Goldface is Dr. Vilar, a scientist at the laboratory of millionaire Perera and a womanizer.

The Cobra demanded $2 million from Perera in exchange for protection of his factories. Company heads assigned Dr. Vilar deliver money to extortionists. He arrives to the meeting place, where Cobra's agent Number 2 takes the suitcase with money. After the deal Dr. Vilar chases Cobra's men to a hotel. Changed to Goldface he attacks terrorists and recovers the money. The Cobra learns the money was returned to their owner and creating a new scheme.

He wants to kill Perera's daughter, Pamela. She takes part in motorcycle race and Cobra's assassin sabotages her motorcycle. However, Goldface saved the girl. Second attempt was made when Pamela and her friend Olga were at a beach. Assassins attacked girls during waterskiing. Goldface uses borrowed radio-controlled toy plane with explosives and destroys killers' boat. The Cobra is disgruntled by failure and kills assassins, also because they've seen his face. The Cobra is Matthews, and he plans to use destructions of his property for obtaining insurance and rebuilding.

Matthews and promoter arranging wrestling match with impostor Goldface in order to lure the real one. Impostor loses fight and arrives real Goldface. He and his assistant Kotar searching for clues and were unsuccessfully ambushed by Cobra's men. Goldface tells police captain Claridge he suspects Perera's administrator Gunner being Cobra's inside man. Wrestler intimidating Gunner and pursuits him to Cobra's secret base.

The Cobra has Pamela caught and demanded $4 million ransom. Goldface and Kotar penetrate to the base. Gunner was killed by Matthews. Goldface saves Pamela and signals the police to storm the base. Matthews kills Number 2 and escapes on a helicopter. Goldface chasing him. Police shot down Cobra's helicopter. And Goldface is back on a ring.
