Government Postgraduate College Jhang is located in Jhang, Pakistan. The college is affiliated with the University of the Punjab.[1] It was established in 1926. The College has produced Nobel Prize winner. Abdus Salam (Nobel laureate in Physics) and Dr.Hargobind Khurrana (Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine) studied in Govt College Jhang. Urdu Poet Majeed Amjad and Poet, writer and critic of Urdu language Wazir Agha studied there. The College staff consists of 160 professors. Renowned Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Irfan Ali Shujah and internationally recognized environmental analyst Noor Ahmed also graduated from this college.
