The Governor of Zaporizhia Oblast is the head of state administration for the Zaporizhia Oblast.

The office of Governor is an appointed position, with officeholders being appointed by the President of Ukraine, on recommendation from the Prime Minister of Ukraine, to serve four year term.

The official residence for the Governor is located in Zaporizhia. The current Governor is Hryhoriy Samardak, who assumed office on October 29, 2014 as Acting Governor and was formally appointed by a Presidential Decree on 6 April 2015.[1]
