Gresse is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. During WWII one of the German death marches passed through the town. 60 Allied POWs died in a "friendly fire" situation when strafed by a flight of RAF Typhoons.
