Guy Wyman was a colonel in the US Army[1] during World War I. He is credited as being the founder of Navarre, Florida and its neighboring beach community of Navarre Beach.[1] He also helped in the construction of the Pensacola Bay Bridge and Eglin Air Force Base. According to Santa Rosa County, he also donated most of the land that is now Navarre Park.
