Hala Shukrallah

Hala Shukrallah is the former president of the Egyptian Constitution Party,[1] having succeeded Mohamed ElBaradei as the party's leader.[2][3] She is the first Coptic woman to head an Egyptian political party.[4][5] As president of the Constitution Party, Hala Shukrallah has articulated as major goals the revitalization and expansion of the party,[6] as well as the achievement of revolutionary objectives, such as social justice, repeal of the protest law, the promotion of human rights and civil liberties, opposition to military domination of politics, and freedom for political prisoners.[7][8][9][10][11]
