Halmstad University (Swedish: Högskolan i Halmstad) (HH) is a Higher Education Institute (HEI, Swedish: högskola) in Halmstad, Sweden.It was established in 1983.
Halmstad University is a public higher education institution offering bachelor's and master's programs in various fields of studies. In addition, it conducts Ph.D. programs in three fields of research, namely, Information Technology, Innovation Science and Health Science.

Statistics
Halmstad University has more than 9 000 students, including 245 exchange students (2013) and 163 international programme students (2013). The study programs and courses cover more than 50 Bachelor's and Master's programs and 250 single subject courses. These include twelve international master's programmes. The university conducts doctoral programs in Information Technology, Innovation Science and Health Science.
