Hans Tholstrup (born 8 November 1944) is a Danish-born adventurer who was the first person to circumnavigate the Australian continent in a 4.9 meters (16 feet) open boat. He also devised the concept of the World Solar Challenge, and became the first person to make a transcontinental journey across Australia in a solar-powered car.[1]
