Harry Poole (birth unknown — died circa-1976/77) was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, and coach of the 1970s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Hull Kingston Rovers (Captain), as a Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums, and coaching at club level for Castleford, and Hull Kingston Rovers.

Playing career

International honours

Harry Poole won caps for Great Britain while at Hull Kingston Rovers in 1964 against France, and in 1966 against New Zealand (2 matches).[1]

Challenge Cup final appearances

Harry Poole played, and was Captain in Hull Kingston Rovers' 5-13 defeat to Widnes in the 1963–64 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 9 May 1964.[2]
