The Head of state of The republic of Cameroon are André-Marie Mbida Prime Minister of eastern Cameroon between 1957 and 1958 Ahmadou Ahidjo President of the federal Republic of Cameroon 1960-1972 and Paul Biya 1982-present President of the Republic of Cameroon. Western Cameroon has also pre-independence Prime Minister.
