"Heartbeat" is a 1986 song by Don Johnson. It was released as a single and included on the album of the same name. It became an international hit, peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and charting highly in many European countries. Segments of the song were sampled in the dance tune, "Heartbeat" by Scottish producer, Grum. The song was also recorded by Helen Reddy and was a track on her 1983 MCA album "Imagination".
