Henriette Marie, Princess Palatine (17 July 1626, Hague, Netherlands – 18 September 1651, Sárospatak, Hungary) was a German noblewoman of the House of Wittelsbach.

Family

Henriette Marie was the third daughter and ninth child of Frederick V, Elector Palatine, the exiled "Winter King" of Bohemia and his consort Elizabeth Stuart. Her paternal grandparents were Frederick IV and Louise Juliana of Nassau. Her maternal grandparents were King James VI and I (of Scotland and England) and his consort Anne of Denmark. She was thus a potential heir to the English and Scottish crowns.

Marriage

On 4 April 1651, in Sárospatak, Hungary, she was married to Sigismund Rákóczi, brother of George II Rákóczi, Prince of Transylvania.

Death

Henriette Marie died unexpectedly on 18 September 1651. Her husband followed her to the grave a few months later; both were buried in St. Michael's Church in Gyulafehervar.
