Henry Marcus Clark (?? - died 1913) was an Australian businessman who built a retailing empire known as Marcus Clark & Co. featuring a chain of Marcus Clark department stores.

He arrived in Australia from England in 1880. In 1883 he started a small drapery shop which prospered.

His 6th child Byron Marcus Clark died in a cliff fall near their Blue Mountains home (Drachenfels) in 1899[1]

He is buried at Waverley Cemetery [1].
