Herman Verelst

Herman Verelst (1641, Dordrecht – 1690, London), was a Dutch Golden Age painter.
Biography
According to the RKD he was the son of Pieter Hermansz Verelst and the father of the painters Cornelis and Maria Verelst.[1] He became a pupil in the Confrerie Pictura at the same time as his brother Simon in 1663.[1] He is known for portraits and still life paintings.[1] He worked in Amsterdam, Italy, and Vienna before moving to London.[1] Louis Michiel was his pupil.[1]
