High on Life is an upcoming comedic biopunk first-person shooter by Squanch Games.[1] It was conceived by Justin Roiland, who is known for his work on the TV series Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites.[2] It takes place in a colorful, absurdist science fiction world and features anthropomorphic talking guns.[3] The game includes voice acting from Roiland, J.B. Smoove, Tim Robinson,[4] Zach Hadel[5] and Michael Cusack.[6] It is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2022[7] for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.[8] It will be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service starting on release day.[4]
Premise
In the future, humanity has been taken by an alien cartel to be used as drugs for aliens. Playing as a bounty hunter, you must navigate throughout the galaxy to save the humans by using weapons called Gattliens, alien guns you use to take out the threats.
