The Historical Records of Australian Science is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering the history of science in Australia and the south-west Pacific published by CSIRO Publishing. It was established in 1966 as an irregular publication with the title Records of the Australian Academy of Science, the present name being adopted in 1980. Since then, the journal has appeared annually and, since 1991, twice a year. The editor-in-chief is Roderick Weir Home. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2011 impact factor of 0.400.[1]
