Hoërskool Bellville (Bellville High School) is a high school in Bellville, South Africa. This School won the Singing cup in 2006 when they participated in the MTBS.[clarification needed] As well as in 2003, 2004 and in 2008.It is a competition between four Cape Town High Schools namely DF Malan, Tygerberg, Bellville and Stellenbosch. It is made out of athletics as well as a song competition.
This event is huge; the kids start practice the moment school starts in January. It is such an important day, parents take leave to attend. Even people whom do not have children in either of these schools, or no kids at all, take leave to come watch this event.
