Hook Norton F.C. is a village football club based in Hook Norton, near Banbury, England. They are members of the Banbury District & Lord Jersey Premier Division.
History
In 2001–02 the club entered the Hellenic Football League Division One West and won it in their inaugural year. They gained promotion to the Premier Division but had to ground-share with Banbury United. In the 2002–03 season, Hook Norton entered into the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Vase.[1] The club was relegated back to Division One West in 2004. They finished third at the end of the 2006–07 season were given provisional promotion to the Premier Division of the Hellenic League, pending ground improvements. The club won planning permission to erect floodlights and other facilities at their own ground which were installed during the summer of 2007, and were completed by autumn. Improvements included: floodlights, two small stands, hard standing and new dugouts. A new clubhouse and changing rooms opened in late-2008. In 2010, the club was again relegated to Division One West.
