Hugh John MacDonald (November 11, 1898 – March 2, 1965) was a provincial politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1940 to 1944, sitting as a member of the anti-SC Unity League AKA Independent Citizens' Association for the constituency of Edmonton. He previously served on the Edmonton City Council and was a judge and lawyer.[1][2]
