Hustad Church (Norwegian: Hustad kyrkje) is a parish church in Fræna Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hustad along the Hustadvika coast. The church is part of the Hustad parish in the Molde arch-deanery in the Diocese of Møre. [1]

There has been a church located at Hustad since the 12th century or 13th century. A prior church was built in 1738 after a previous church burned as a result of a lightning strike in 1718. The present white wooden church was built in 1874 under plans by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan (1824-1892). The church seats about 450 people. From the old church's inventory, the church bell of 1738 and brass baptismal font were transferred to the new church. The pulpit and the altarpiece were incorporated into the Sandvig Collections (Sandvigske Samlinger) at Maihaugen in Lillehammer. [2] [3]
