Hyospathe is a genus of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family, native to South America and Central America. It contains the following species:[1][2]

  1. Hyospathe elegans Mart. - Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, the Guianas, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil
  2. Hyospathe frontinensis A.J.Hend. - Colombia
  3. Hyospathe macrorhachis Burret - Ecuador
  4. Hyospathe peruviana A.J.Hend. - Huánuco region of Perú
