Hypatopa verax is a moth in the Blastobasidae family. It is found in Costa Rica.[1]

The length of the forewings is 4–4.5 mm. The forewings are brown intermixed with pale-brown scales. The hindwings are translucent pale brown.

Etymology

The specific name is derived from Latin verax (meaning truthful).
