Hypophytala hyettoides, the common flash, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria (south and the Cross River loop), Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea (Bioko).[2] The habitat consists of forests.
