Iñaki Urlezaga

Iñaki Urlezaga (La Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine classical dancer of international significance.

He trained in his native city and at the "Instituto Superior de Arte of the Columbus Theatre of Buenos Aires". He was apprenticed at the New York City Ballet and was refined with Laura Alonso.

He joined the ballet Teatro Argentino de La Plata led by Esmeralda Agoglia and in 1993 un the Columbus Ballet where he was the first figure. He has danced in Europe, South America Central America and United States.

In 1995 he joined the Royal Ballet of London [1] where he danced until 2005. He is a principal guest dancer with the National Ballet of Netherlands.

He formed his own company - Ballet Concierto - and serves as a choreographer.

He has choreographed La traviata of Verdi in Spain 2010.
