I saw Poland betrayed: An American ambassador reports to the American people (1948) is a book written by Arthur Bliss Lane, former United States ambassador to Poland, who observed what he considered to be the betrayal of Poland by the Western Allies at the end of World War II.[1] A Polish version of the book was published in the United States, and later republished by an underground publishing house "Krąg" in 1984 in Communist-dominated Poland.
