Ian Aspinall

Ian Aspinall (born 1961) is a British actor who is well known for the role of Mubbs Hussein in Holby City, which he played from 2001 to 2005.[1][2]

Aspinall was born in Bolton, Lancashire to Pakistani immigrants. He has been in City Central, The Bill, Silent Witness, Peak Practice and Casualty.[3] He also had a role in East Is East playing eldest son Nazir Khan.[4] He was also the first actor to portray Darren Whateley, the man responsible for the stabbing of Brian Tilsley in Coronation Street.
