Ichang Street

Ichang Street (Chinese: 宜昌街) is a street in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It lies between Hankow Road and Ashley Road.

Due to the neighbouring Hankow Road being named after the Hubei city of Hankow (now part of Wuhan), this smaller street is suggested to be named after a smaller city in comparison that is also close to Hankow. It was finally decided to be named Ichang after Ichang city (modern-day Yichang), which is also in Hubei Province.[1]
