IF is the newest studio album by New York soul group Mindless Self Indulgence. It will be released on The End Records and sold only at Hot Topic's (and some Gamestops).
Not much is known about this album yet, only that it will be expected to be released April 29th, and it will most likely be terrible. Mindless Self Indulgence will be doing a small North American tour in support of this album with The Birthday Massacre and My Chemical Romance.
On January 28th, a clip of the song "Mastermind (Shh I Am Whispering Remix)" was released via stream on the band's MySpace page. The clip was critically acclaimed by music critics and was compared against Seal's "Fly like an Eagle" and Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Suck My Kiss".
On January 16th, a demo of the shitty song "Due" was released exclusively through the Soundwave Tour website. "Due" has received plenty of radio airtime since it's release, primarily on Christian soul stations.
In a recent interview, Little Jimmy Urine has said that "The fact is that we don't really care about making GOOD music anymore, because we realized that our fan base will basically buy ANYTHING with our name on it, I mean did you even hear Another Mindless Rip Off, haha."
On February 12th, 2008 a digital-only single of the fan favorite "Mastermind(Shh I Am Whispering Remix)" will be available worldwide. The single will be a first peek into terribly mixed studio material from the new record and contains artwork by the mall goth king himself, Jhonen Vasquez.
Jimmy Urine has claimed that the album was inspired by seeing the band Morningwood have a pig do the lead vocals.

M dot Strange, (director of We Are the Strange), is set to direct the video for "Animal".
Mike Diva, (winner of the youtube Straight to Video response contest), is set to direct the video for "Mark David Chapman". He will also provide guest vocals on "Living in Jimmy's Shadow."
Jhonen Vasquez, creator of Invader ZIM, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and Squee! is expected to do the album art.
Chantal Claret, lead vocalist for band Morningwood and her wife, MSI frontman Little Jimmy Urine, will be singing a loving duet on the track 'Never Wanted To Fuck You (Until You Looked Like a Fat Dude)'. She will also be backup dancer when MSI goes on tour.
