Igbanke

Igbanke is a town in Edo State, Nigeria.It is located in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the state. Igbanke comprises eight villages, namely: Ake, Idumodin, Idumuiru, Igbontor, Obiogba, Oligie, Omolua, Ottah. The people of Igbanke predominantly speak Ika language, which is more popular in the neighbouring Delta State.

Geographical Coordinates

Igbanke has geographical coordinates of 6° 21' 0" North, 6° 13' 0" East. The town is bordered by Agbor, Mbiri and Ekpon.

Dr Samuel Ogbemudia, former governor of the Midwest Region of Nigeria, and later Bendel state.
