Description: Yad Vashem call this "Warsaw, Poland. A starving child lying in a ghetto street." Taken from an album that was found with a German soldier.

Photographer: Heinz Joest, a Wehrmacht sergeant.

Date: Believed to be September 19, 1941, the photographer's 43rd birthday, which he spent taking photographs in the ghetto, which was forbidden.
