English: Russian children in a Finnish-run transfer camp in Petrozavodsk in the end of June, 1944 After Finns retreated from Petrozavodsk at June 28, 1944, among the first Soviet troops arrived also Soviet war correspondence Galina Sanko, who took this picture and several others. The photo was first published 1966 in I.M. Batser: Eto bylo na Karelskom fronte and after that in several Soviet and foreign papers thus becoming one of her most known.

После того, как финны отступили из Петрозаводска 28 июня 1944 года, среди первых советских войск прибыла военный фотокорреспондент Галина Санько, которая сделала несколько снимков. Eesti: Vene lapsed Soome juhitud siirdelaagris Petrozavodskis 1944. aasta juuni lõpus Pärast soomlaste tagasitõmbumist Petrozavodskist 28. juunil 1944. aastal jõudis esimese Nõukogude vägede hulka ka Nõukogude sõja kirjavahetus Galina Sanko, kes võttis selle pildi ja mitmed teised. Foto ilmus esmakordselt 1966. aastal I.M. Batseris: Eto bilo Karelskomere ees ja pärast seda mitmetes Nõukogude ja välisriikide paberites, muutudes seega üheks kõige tuntumaks.
