The Independent Petroleum Association of America is an organization of oil and gas producers in the United States.[1][2]

Overview

It was founded on June 10, 1929 by President Herbert Hoover.[1][2][3] It is headquartered in Washington, D.C..[1]

In 2012, it produced the documentary Truthland, a response to Gasland.[4]
