Template:Infobox Ort in Österreich Innervillgraten is a municipality in the district of Lienz in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The region is one of the most remote regions in Austria, a yearlong connection to the valley was established as late as 1956. The death of Pius Walder, a wood cutter and poacher, which had been shot by Johann Schett, lead to some touristic and media interest.

Innervillgraten is notable for voting overwhelmingly in favour of Austria's independence during the Anschluss referendum; 95% of the village cast a "No" vote when asked whether or not Austria should be united with Nazi Germany - the highest percentage against the Anschluss in any part of the country.
