Institute of English and Modern Languages Faisalabad (IEML) is an institute of Government College University in Faisalabad, Pakistan dedicated to teaching languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, and Urdu.

History

In May 2011, the university syndicate gave formal approval to the IEML as part of the university faculty of English and Modern Languages. This is the only institute of its kind for a population of more than 10 million of Faisalabad and its milieu. The GC University, a public sector university, has more than 20,000 students enrolled in its programs. The vice chancellor of the GC University, Dr. Zakir Hussain, has recently appointed Dr. Shahbaz Arif, a renowned linguist, as the head and Professor Ihsan Chaudhry, a popular IELTS and English language expert, as the program coordinator of the IEML Faisalabad.
