The International Disability Alliance (IDA) is a united voice of organisations of persons with disabilities from across the world, including in both developed and developing countries, on the global stage.

IDA works to advance the human rights of persons with disabilities by utilizing international agreements, processes and institutions, using the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as its touchstone.

IDA is composed of global and regional Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (DPOs).[1]

  • African Disability Forum (ADF)
  • Arab Organization of Disabled People (AODP)
  • European Disability Forum (EDF)
  • The Latin American Network of Non-Governmental Organizations of Persons with Disabilities and their Families (RIADIS)
  • Pacific Disability Forum (PDF)

IDA works in affiliation with bodies of the United Nations in apprising DPOs on the status of the rights of people with disabilities according to most current observations and in accordance with treaty signatories.
