Islah is the debut studio album by American rapper Kevin Gates. It was released on January 29, 2016, by Bread Winners' Association; distributed by Atlantic Records.[1][2] The album was supported by seven singles: "Kno One", "La Familia", "The Truth", "Really Really", "2 Phones", "Jam" and "Excuse Me".

Islah received positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics, the album received an average average score of 80 based on 6 reviews, which indicatesm "generally positive reviews".

Singles

The debut single, "Kno One" was released on July 9, 2015. It was produced by the unknowingly-profiled record producer IKENNA FuNkEn, alongside this high-profiled production team The Featherstones.

On September 3, 2015, Gates simultaneously released the songs for "La Familia" and "The Truth", as the second single and the third single. The album's fourth single, "Really Really" was released on October 5, 2015. It was produced by Alex Goose, alongside Cook Classics and Jake Troth.

The album's fifth single, "2 Phones" was released on November 5, 2015. It was produced by Mad Max. On January 29, 2016, Gates simultaneously released the songs for "Jam" featuring Trey Songz, Jamie Foxx and Ty Dolla $ign, and "Excuse Me", as the sixth single and the seventh single.
