Itä-Häme is the eastern part of the historical province Tavastia in Finland. It is located in Päijänne Tavastia, Southern Savonia and Central Finland.

Municipalities in this area are: Heinola, Hartola, Sysmä, Joutsa, Luhanka and Pertunmaa. Heinola is only city of these.

Leivonmäki National Park is located in Itä-Häme.

Itä-Häme is also known by manufacturing of sahti.
