József Janos Váradi (born 21 September 1965) is a Hungarian businessman who co-founded Wizz Air and has been its CEO since 2003.

Váradi graduated with a degree from in Economics from Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1989.[2] He completed a LLM from the University of London in 2014.

Váradi worked for Procter & Gamble for ten years, rising to sales director for Central and Eastern Europe. He then served as CEO of Malév Hungarian Airlines from 2001 to 2003,[2] before co-founding Wizz Air and becoming its CEO in 2003.
